Hey there! I’m happy to announce Kirby Week here at the Amiibo Dojo. In celebration of Kirby Planet Robobot‘s release on June 10th, I’ll be releasing new training guides and even a post I’ve never done here before. In this post, I’m going to quickly outline my plans for this event. Let’s get started.
The most notable new “thing” I’m doing during Kirby Week is a post detailing amiibo usage in Kirby Planet Robobot. This will be the first non-Smash related article on the whole site. I’ve been looking to expand the Amiibo Dojo’s horizons a little bit, and this is the first step.
On Monday, June 6th, I will release an article that details the amiibo functionality in the game. This includes what the Kirby series of amiibo do, as well as which abilities are granted when a Super Smash Bros. amiibo is tapped in.
On Tuesday, June 7th, I’ll be releasing an updated character guide on Meta Knight. This guide has been outdated for a while now, so I’m going to be working hard to create an accurate training guide you can use to make this amiibo awesome.
On Wednesday, June 8th, I’ll be rolling out an update on King Dedede. This is going to be a very significant update – the current Dedede guide still tells you to use aerials, something I’ve long since proven wrong. It’ll feature vastly improved training tips, a way better pros and cons section, and a format update.
The next day – Thursday, June 9th – I will be updating the Jigglypuff training guide to its second version. What? You say Jigglypuff isn’t a Kirby character? Nonsense. They’re both pink puffs who can fly for a long time. This guide update will, of course, feature an updated format, improved tips, and a better pros and cons section, among other things.
Friday, June 10th is when Kirby Planet Robobot is released! It’s also when the third version of the Kirby character guide is released! It’ll feature format updates, brand-new tips, and a revised pros and cons list. If you’re afraid that your Kirby amiibo will suck, this guide will help you out. If you’re planning to buy Planet Robobot and a few amiibo, I’ll have guides ready for all of them!!
I hope you all look forward to Kirby Week! I’ll be working very hard to ensure that everything comes together. Oh, and expect the site’s appearance to be changed temporarily during this event! Well then, as always, thanks for reading! I’ll see you on June 6th for the beginning of Kirby week! (Or maybe before that, I don’t know.)
