Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (often shortened to Smash 4 or Sm4sh) was released worldwide on October 3rd, 2014. Although it never reached the competitive potential of its Wii U counterpart, the game still sold well due to its novel portability. For players who enjoy playing Super Smash Bros. on the go, there are several unlockables for you to obtain!
Characters
Upon the release of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, the character selection screen looked decent. Now the DLC fighters occupy their own page, which… does not look decent. In addition to the downloadable fighters, though, there are a few other characters to unlock.

- Dream Land is unlocked by using Kirby’s Final Smash.
- Flat Zone 2 is obtained by unlocking Mr. Game & Watch (see above) and completing the first Challenge panel.

- Mute City is unlocked by winning three Versus matches as Captain Falcon.
- Pac-Maze is unlocked by using Pac-Man’s Final Smash.

Features
Finally, an unlockable feature with doable criteria! This time around, it’s the More Rules menu, which allows you to toggle things like Team Attack and the Pause button.
- More Rules are unlocked by getting 200 KOs in Versus matches.
