One of the coolest new Hisuian evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is Kleavor. It evolves from Scyther regardless of its region of origin, and it’s a Bug/Rock-type Pokémon. That being said, Scyther only evolves into Kleavor when exposed to a Black Augurite, which is a brand new evolution item. However, this item is somewhat rare — luckily, we’ve got the locations listed here in case you’re looking!
Black Augurite Locations
There are several ways to find a Black Augurite, but all of them involve just a little bit of luck. The first way is to use Ursaluna to dig one up. You can find Black Augurites in the Obsidian Fieldlands and Crimson Mirelands, though their appearances are random. You can also find them by defeating Gravelers, which pop out of shaking ore deposits. This is entirely random too, however.
The other way – which is much more difficult to pull off – is by finding a Black Augurite from a space-time distortion. As soon as one of these fully forms, lightning will strike and spread items all across the floor. There’s a chance that one of these will be the Black Augurite you need.
We’d recommend defeating Graveler over and over again in the Crimson Mirelands, and then waiting to see if a space-time distortion happens to form while you’re at it. You can also use Ursaluna to traverse between locations just in case there’s a Black Augurite buried somewhere underground. It might take some time, but have patience and you’ll find one eventually!
