Ursaring is already a powerful Pokémon, but its new evolution, Ursaluna, makes it even stronger. Unfortunately, evolving Ursaring is a somewhat complicated task; it can only evolve when exposed to a Peat Block during a full moon. Today, we’ve gathered all of the information you’ll need to bring your Teddiursa or Ursaring to its final form. Let’s get started!
Peat Block Locations
Compared to the Black Augurite, the Peat Block is generally much more difficult to find. One repeatable way to find Peat Blocks is by searching the Crimson Mirelands while riding Ursaluna. It’s kind of ironic, because you need to ride Ursaluna in order to obtain one for yourself! The other way of obtaining a Peat Block (that can’t be repeated) is by completing Request #86: Gone Astray… In the Icelands. You can start this quest by talking to Zeke in Jubilife Village.
Unfortunately, getting a Peat Block is heavily reliant on luck. Once you’ve obtained one, you have to wait for a full moon before Ursaring can evolve. To do this, camp out until nightfall over and over again. Each time you camp out, check on Ursaring’s status in your menu. If it says it’s incompatible with the Peat Block, it means it’s not a full moon. Camp out again and again until it says compatible.
If you’ve already completed Request #86, the only option you have is seeking out treasure with Ursaluna. Remember to pay attention to the rumbling of your controller, and most of all, have patience! These items take a while to find, and they can’t be traded between games. Keep at it for long enough and you’ll certainly find one.
