Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the first game in the series where Regigigas is the only Legendary titan available. That’s right: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are completely unobtainable — at least, at the time of writing. Thankfully, this makes catching Regigigas an easy task. There is one prerequisite, though: you need to have captured Heatran. More info here! With that out of the way, let’s get started.
Regigigas can be caught after you beat the game and watch the end credits. It’s obtained as part of Mission #24: The Plate of Snowpoint Temple. Enter Snowpoint Temple and take a right past the first room. You’ll find a staircase leading down that will eventually bring you to Regigigas. In order to open its door, you need the Stone Plate (obtained from Alpha Vespiquen), the Icicle Plate (obtained from the Noble Pokémon Avalugg), and the Iron Plate (obtained from defeating Heatran). You should have all of these up to this point. If you don’t have the Iron Plate, you can find out how to get it right here.
When you obtain all three plates and open the door, Regigigas will appear at Level 70. There are no Abilities in Pokémon Legends: Arceus… except for on Regigigas. Indeed, it still receives nerfs to its Attack and Speed stats via a makeshift Slow Start Ability. Which is a bummer, because Regigigas could have been so much stronger had this not been the case. If you accidentally defeat Regigigas, you’ll be given another opportunity to capture it. As with every other Legendary Pokémon in the game, Regigigas cannot be Shiny under any circumstance.
