At the time of writing, Landorus serves as a master of sorts to the other Legendary genies, Tornadus and Thundurus. Despite that, it’s the easiest of the three to catch in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. That’s because it appears in the Obsidian Fieldlands without any special weather condition requirement. Landorus is obtained as part of Request #94: The Incarnate Forces of Hisui.
Landorus Location
After accepting Request #94, Landorus will appear on Ramanas Island in Obsidian Fieldlands. All you have to do is surf or fly over there and you’ll find it very quickly. Do keep an eye out for the Alpha Infernape that tends to spawn over here, and make sure it doesn’t get in your way! Landorus is tough enough to track down as-is without interference from other Pokémon.
Just like its fellow genies, Landorus will create a shield of dirt to surround itself. While this shield is up, you won’t be able to battle it. Toss a ball of a mud or any kind of Poké Ball at the shield, and it’ll temporarily disappear. This is easier said than done, though! Landorus will summon blazing-hot dirt tornadoes that deal high damage, so do your best to avoid those. Once its shield is hit, switch to one of your Pokémon and initiate a battle with it as quickly as possible. Remember, every Legendary Pokémon in this game is Shiny-locked, and Landorus is no exception.
