After missing February’s Nintendo Direct, Min Min’s amiibo figure has finally been slated for an April 29 release date. According to a recent tweet from Nintendo, it will indeed be releasing alongside Nintendo Switch Sports! Unfortunately, Steve won’t be arriving alongside her. Both the Steve and Alex amiibo figures have been delayed until late 2022, and no official date has been given. As we’ve mentioned here before, we were able to access training data for the Min Min, Steve, Sephiroth, Pyra / Mythra, and Kazuya Figure Players early. This means we’ve got full-length training guides available on all of these fighters! Be sure to bookmark their respective pages ahead of their release date so you’re ready to train them up properly.
In the meantime, several existing amiibo figures are being reprinted. They’ll likely release sometime in March alongside Kirby and the Forgotten Land. These include Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Byleth. Naturally, we’ve got training guides available for them too, and we encourage you to check them out! Please note that the Kirby amiibo being reprinted are all Kirby series (blue bases) except for King Dedede, whose Smash version is being restocked.
