Full information on every amiibo personality now available

Thanks to recent datamines from members of the community, we’ve finally figured out the specific qualifications and behaviors of every amiibo personality in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! For the longest time, competitive trainers had no idea how the game calculated or labeled personalities. As per our recent update, we have an answer! Every behavior an FP can have is assigned a point value that contributes to a certain personality.

We’ve finally listed all  of this information in one place for you to see. You can find it over at our wiki page on personalities, and it sort of covers the nitty-gritty regarding their calculation and assignment. It’s absolutely one of the most in-depth looks amiibo personalities have ever seen. Definitely check it out! If that sounds too complicated for you, we have a personality introduction guide that might be helpful for you to read first. Compared to the wiki entry, this post is designed for newcomers.

Please keep in mind that all of this information is subject to change! As we learn even more about personality calculation and what it entails, we’ll post updates here. Be sure to stay tuned! In the meantime, feel free to check out our amiibo training guides. Even if you don’t know anything about personalities and how they work, these guides will help you raise each specific character to be the strongest they can be. If you have any questions, you can direct them to our Discord server! We’d be happy to help you out in case anything is still unclear.

It’s great to see all of this information finally come to light after all these years. We didn’t have anything like this in the Smash 4 metagame, so most of it was trial and error — which was much more difficult. Special thanks to MiDe and Ske for making these discoveries! We’re excited to see where amiibo training goes from here.
