Pac-Man World Re-Pac isn’t a long game. In fact, even if you’ve never played it before, it should only take somewhere around four or five hours to complete. As with most cross-platform games, 100% completing Pac-Man World Re-Pac is as simple as obtaining all of its achievements. However, the Switch doesn’t have an achievement system, so the requirements for 100% completion are a bit different.
100% Completion Requirements
To review, then: if you’re playing Re-Pac on any console other than Switch, 100% completion requires that you complete all of the game’s achievements. This will take some time, as one of the achievements requires earning a specific high score in the original Pac-Man. For those playing on the Switch version, here’s everything you have to do to earn 100% completion:
- Clear the game’s Story Mode and complete every standard and boss level.
- Save all six of Pac-Man’s friends (one per area).
- Collect each level’s set of six P-A-C-M-A-N letters.
- Beat all of the game’s mazes at least once, including ones
- Obtain a total score of at least 765,000 points and claim the Magic Key.
That last requirement actually wasn’t present in the original Pac-Man World! If you’re stuck at 97% file completion and aren’t sure what to do, try increasing your high score to earn that extra 3%. To do this, try replaying levels and eating as many Pac-Dots, fruit, and ghosts as possible. For extra points, try your best not to lose a single life during the duration of that level. You can also try re-battling bosses, if you think that would be easier! Once you’ve fulfilled each of these criteria, you’ve earned 100% completion. Nice work!
