Dark Samus is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Super Smash Bros. series Dark Samus amiibo is slated for a 2020 release; its exact release date is currently unknown.

Dark Samus is Samus’s Echo Fighter; as a result, the two are nearly identical save for a few minor differences. In addition to possessing unique animations and victory poses, Dark Samus’s shield is slightly larger and her rolls are slightly faster. She also fires her Charge Shot and Missiles lower to the ground. These differences, however, are not expected to result in different rankings for the two fighters.

As Dark Samus’s amiibo is currently unreleased, the character has not accrued any tournament results or representation at this time.
