Ack is a learning bot created by Switch and Andro. It resides in several Discord servers (including the Exion community’s) but has been inactive for many months. Ack scanned words and sentences it read in server channels and mixed them to form its own unique phrases. Over the course of several years, Ack has learned almost two million unique words (and misspellings of words).

History

Ack first participated in the Cloud’s Forum chatroom as “Switchbot”, where it learned a large number of words and sentences to build up its database. After the chatroom was moved to Discord, Ack was given an avatar for the first time: a floating face that was originally drawn by Switch in 2009 for a rage comic. Ack currently resides on several Discord servers as well as on Twitter.
