DONkLE is a community member who originally joined in 2016. He then became active in April 2017 after several months of lurking. In the Super Smash Bros. 4 amiibo metagame, DONkLE was known as having among the strongest Donkey Kong, Lucina, and Fox amiibo; in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he is known for having one of the most successful Chrom amiibo.

History

After becoming active in the amiibo training community, DONkLE found success with Donkey Kong, Lucina, and Fox. He is infamous for suffering from the “second place curse”: his amiibo were often eliminated in the first round; they would then defeat all of the opponents in the losers bracket and make it to grand finals only to lose to the other finalist. Despite this, DONkLE has seen a great deal of success in the Smash 4 metagame and is considered one of its top trainers.
