Splice is a Super Smash Bros. streamer who joined the community in late 2017. His Twitch channel SpliceStream regularly streams amiibo tournaments; these are advertised on the Exion Discord server, among other places. Splice mains Samus in Super Smash Bros. Melee, R.O.B. in Brawl, Mario in 4, and Ice Climbers in Ultimate.

History

Splice started hosting tournaments in September 2006 when he started the Y Smash League, a Super Smash Bros. Melee free-for-all tournament hosted on a local campus. The Y Smash League would continue until Winter 2015, which marked the date of Splice’s first amiibo tournament, S.L.A.P. Season 00. Splice now regularly streams amiibo tournaments; these competitions generally span multiple days and often offer a prize to the winner.
