Clash of Champions 0, my first ever self-hosted amiibo tournament, has just concluded. We had a nice, diverse set of entrants, with many surprising amiibo ended up ranking quite high. In this post, I’m going to talk about why things went how they did, and I’ll also be including details on the next Clash of Champions. Let’s begin.

Hello, dear readers. Today, I would like to inform you that, in my in my everlasting quest to further improve the Amiibo Dojo, I have opened a Patreon account. I’ve been carefully thinking about how to properly do one of these for a long time – and today, it’s finally come to fruition.

You are probably wondering specific reasons why I decided to do this. The answer is: I want to make the Amiibo Dojo even better, but lack the funds to do so. I want to buy streaming equipment and stream amiibo training and tournaments. I want to be able to afford site-wide upgrades. And I’ve already spend over a thousand dollars on amiibo figures so I could provide guides for you all…I just don’t have anything else to give!

Whether you choose to donate or not is your choice. I will not shove this link down anybody’s metaphorical throats. If you feel that I have helped you, and want to help me, you have my eternal appreciation. Thanks for reading – I’ll see you guys later this week with some brand-new guides.

Amiibo Dojo’s Third Tournament Win!

It’s been a heck of a month for the Amiibo Dojo. I’ve gotten two tournament wins in the past two weeks, for a total of three this year. This time, I won with Little Mac. I was going to enter Mario, but he wasn’t doing so well, so I had no choice but to enter Mr. Dream. He plowed through the competition and emerged as the supreme champion! This win further backs up the legitimacy of the methods here at the Dojo…and I guess it also reinforces the notion that Little Mac is the best amiibo in the game!

Welcome! There are a lot of you out there who are adamant about training your amiibo to use aerials. However, I disagree. Aerials are bad, and shouldn’t be used at all – in fact, your amiibo shouldn’t even be jumping. Don’t believe me? I have a whole article ready to persuade to think otherwise. Let the rant...er, I mean, educative post begin!
