Welcome! There are a lot of you out there who train your amiibo without equipment. There are also a lot of you who believe equipment is overpowered and/or stupid. However, I disagree. I’ve got a whole article ready to persuade you to think otherwise. Ready? Let the rant...er, I mean, educative post begin!

Tournament Analysis: AWT #3

I recently entered and won Amiibo Dan’s third iteration of the Amiibo World Tournament. For this tournament, you needed to have a Powersaves or Android device to enter. You’d create a backup of your amiibo using this device (which is stored as a .bin file) and send it to Amiibo Dan. Using his amiiqo device, he’d then be able to scan it into Super Smash Bros. and have the amiibo fight each other. In this article, I’m going to go over how I prepared my Ness for the tournament, and why the odds were against him when the tournament began.

Super NES wins the Amiibo World Tournament!

Hey there, readers. It’s been a bit since I’ve produced any new content. This is just a post letting you readers know…my amiibo, Super NES, just won Amiibo Dan’s Amiibo World Tournament. This was the first tournament that I ever entered, and Super NES dominated the competition – not losing a single match. Don’t believe me? Check out the completed bracket here. In a few days, I’ll be releasing my full tournament analysis article, so you can look forward to that. I’ll also be updating my Ness amiibo training guide, which I used to train my Ness. Now that I’ve got a tournament win under my belt, you know that Amiibo Dojo’s methods are truly legitimate now.

Amiibo Dojo’s Ness is entering a tournament!

Why does the Ness in the featured image have a heart? Because the idea of entering a tournament for the first time fills me with DETERMINATION.

Hey there, guys. I’m proud to announce that Amiibo Dojo will be entering its first tournament on January 10th, 2015. Which tournament am I entering? Amiibo Dan’s World Tournament that is open to anyone. You just need to have an Android phone, a Powersaves, or Amiiqo. Then, you send your amiibo’s data over to him, and he uses an amiiqo to create a full tournament. This is very valuable, because actual tournaments at physical locations are very rare. In this article, I’ll tell you everything I’m doing to prepare for this tournament.

Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays!

The following is an archived post from the Amiibo Dojo. It has been uploaded to the Exion Vault for referential purposes and retains its original publication date; some of the post’s links may not function currently or exist at all.

Hey there guys, I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, seeing how it’s happening in two days. Or, in case you don’t celebrate Christmas, then happy holidays! Thanks for your continued use and support of the site.

2016 will be all about making Amiibo Dojo the #1 training resource on the web. Once I can update all my existing guides (which I manually test before releasing) and release new guides for all the characters I don’t have yet, there’ll be no contest: no other site offers in-depth training guides on every character like the Dojo does.

What happens when I release guides on every character? We’ll see. I don’t see that as the “end” of me posting guides. In fact, when Amiibo Dojo gets guides on every character, it’ll be complete. I’ll probably update guides, post new training methods, and keep you guys in the know about all things amiibo training. Again, thanks so much for your continued use of the site. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
